FI School: Introduction

Overwhelmed with FI info?

You’re new to FI, and want to learn more… or you’re a full-fledged FI enthusiast, and want to help others. But there’s so much content out there—where do you start?!

I’m here to help!

I too felt overwhelmed when trying to share the FI message with my family. There was so much good info available, but I wanted to gather the most helpful, succinct content. So I started collecting links to my favourite FI content, and put it all into one Google Doc.

As the doc (and the hours I put into it) grew, I thought I should share this collective knowledge with others… and so I tidied it up and turned it into FI School!

FI School: The Ultimate Guide to FI

What’s FI School?

FI School is a collection of actionable, inspiring FI content, hand-picked from all over the internet. You’ll learn everything you need to know about FI, from the basics, to advanced strategies, and everything between. (FI School is totally free, and you can go through it at your own pace.)

Who’s FI School for?

FI School is perfect for FI newbies to get started, or for FI veterans to share (or continue their own learning). There’s even special Canada-centric content for my fellow Canucks—just look for the 🍁.

Why should I use FI School?

While you could easily find all this content yourself, there’s a lot of value to having it curated and laid out in a course-like format. I’ve spent countless hours reviewing and vetting the content in this guide, saving you from having to do that yourself.

More time and energy to pursue FI? Awesome!

How do I get started?

Head to the FI School home page to view the lessons and start your FI journey today!

Get started, progress through the stages of FI, and reach your goals with FI School.

A sincere thank you…

To the amazing content creators I’ve featured in FI School: Thank you for sharing your stories and your work with the world.

Without your contributions, there’d be no FI journey for me, no Eat Sleep Breathe FI, and no FI School. You’ve inspired, taught, and motivated me to pursue a life with more choices, freedom, and joy.

My hope is for others to discover your stories through FI School, and be likewise moved to change their lives (and become your newest fans)!

Hey Chrissy–I love the idea, particularly the extra feature for Canucks! Very ingenius. I’m not Canadian but will be interested to explore differences between Canada and the US!

Way to pull together a great idea! If people in “real life” ask me about FI or want to know more, I’ve always wanted a resource for explaining it in a concise way (from beginner to advanced). Thanks for putting this together (even if I’m from the US).

      Hey Savvy History!

Nice to see you here again. I’m so happy that FI School can now be a resource for you to share with others. (That means I’ve met my goal for creating it—YESSS!) Thanks in advance for sharing it. That means a lot to me.

Just a little note: FI School does include some Canadian content, but most of it is country-agnostic. You’ll get a lot out of the content wherever you happen to live!

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment. 🙂
